The 12.9-inch tablet behemoth will arrive in Apple stores as well as select carriers and authorized resellers’ stores later this week.
Two other products — Apple Pencil, the $99 companion to the iPad Pro, and Apple’s new $169 Smart Keyboard — will also be available on Wednesday. Those who want some additional protection for their new tablet will be able to get an iPad Pro Smart Cover for $59 or an iPad Pro Silicone Case for $79.
The iPad Pro and its accessories will immediately be available in a large number of markets. In addition to being the largest, the iPad Pro is the most powerful device in the iPad family, with an Apple A9X chip, a 2742 x 2048 screen resolution and an 8-megapixel camera.
You can choose from three variants: The 32GB, Wi-Fi-only model costs $799; a a 128GB Wi-Fi-only version costs $949; a 128GB model with a cellular chip costs $1,079.
